TAPES UPDATE DOES NOT ATTRACT DUST
Adhesive tapes specialist tesa has just introduced a new product in its ACXplus range which has neutralised edges and therefore does not attract dust and dirt particles during installation. The edges of this new double-sided tape are not tacky and therefore provide a crisp and clean finish.
According to its manufacturer, ACXplus 7058 tape consists of a high-performance acrylic system offering excellent bonding power, stress dissipation, temperature and weather resistance. And due to its high transparency it is especially suitable for constructive bonding of transparent and translucent materials such as glass or acrylic, and is used in partition walls, sign manufacturing and glass panelling industries.
Offering enhanced functionality with a fast and robust adherence, this ultra-transparent tape creates an invisible bond many slim designs and different substrates such as glass, polycarbonate, aluminium and more.
With a thickness of 2.000um, the tape provides not only high bonding power but is UV, temperature and solvent resistant and provides a viable alternative to many conventional fastening methods.
