Colin Bennett, managing director, points out that Viking is 3M's principal supplier of technical tapes and adhesives on-line. His company's conversion service "ensures that whatever the product we can provide it in the most cost-effective shape and size". It also is pointed out that the company's 'Technical Helpline' specialises in "saving time and money for customers by helping to resolve application problems". Colin Bennett cites as examples a refurbishment project carried out at London's Mansion House at which "a combination of 3M's VHB tape and a special primer secured large polycarbonate light fitments - a problem that installers had been grappling with for weeks! In addition, an aluminium foil tape has been used to help to project light in sub-zero temperatures".
