Tantec UK's managing director Christopher Howey will be presenting a seminar at the upcoming FAST Live event, titled ‘Plasma and Corona – What Will You Do With Plasma?’

The seminar takes place at the show on Thursday May 9 at 11:30 am in The Silverstone Wing, Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire. The seminar will offer a brief overview of why you would use surface treatments in a modern factory – how it can help with ensuring quality of finish goods, and even be used as a non-destructive test method for inline hole and leak detection of components.

Tantec will show the latest technology brought forward over the past few months and years that builds on the successful history of the company, which have been manufacturing systems sold all over the world since 1974.

5 THINGS DELEGATES WILL LEARN DURING THIS SEMINAR SESSION:

  • What plasma and corona are used for
  • How their use is transforming from highly specific systems to solving a wider range of problems in many industries
  • The types of systems that can be used – discussing the different treatments available – Atmospheric Plasma, Vacuum Plasma, High Frequency Corona, Low Frequency Corona and Ozone
  • The considerations for in-line and off-line treatment, and the effect of speed and throughput of parts
  • The most up-to-date systems and future systems coming to Tantec.

FAST Live is the UK’s only specialist fastening, bonding and assembly event for design engineers, production professionals and manufacturers. The event, including the seminar, is free to attend and there are even bacon rolls available to those who pre-register for the talk.
