Table top machine mixes and degasses

Manufactured in Japan by Shashin Kagaku Product Company, the Kakuhunter SK-300S table top mixer has CE approval and has just been made exclusively available to Ellsworth Adhesives for distribution in the UK. This new machine offers users a cost effective mixing and degassing solution for two component materials, the supplier claims

The SK-300S bench top unit is designed to mix and degas materials quickly and effectively and can process a wide range of materials – from low to high viscosity – with consistent dispersion results.

Easy to operate, the mixer has a designated operational panel with different settings and functions that can be adjusted to suit user requirements. Revolution and rotation speeds can be set individually as part of the mix programme, while balance navigation can be increased to suit a heavier material and decreased to suit lighter materials. The SK300S even has a heat spreader to dissipate heat away from mixing motor assembly and its cup tray is positioned at an angle that provides maximum mixing capability, a statement suggested.

The machine also has several safety functions including an automatic stop button, a top lid lock for when it isn’t being used and a hold operation button to allowing the top lid to be opened if required. Users working in quiet environments might be interested to know that the machine operates with minimal noise.

Using a planetary mixer like the SK-300S has a number of advantages over other mixing tools and equipment. Users can expect to save time and effort, since the mixing and degassing process is complete in just minutes. Furthermore, the use of a mixing and degassing machine completely eliminates air bubbles from the mixing process, achieving a smooth end result. This makes this equipment perfect for materials requiring high precision mixing and degassing.

While mixing tools or other mixing equipment can sometimes breakdown the composition of the material, the use of a planetary mixer will help to preserve it. Additional advantages of a mixing and degassing machine include minimal wastage and avoids material contexture change due to thermal elevation of material.
