Stainless steel handwheels for specialist applications
A series of three spoked stainless steel handwheels represents the ultimate execution for high end applications in the food industry, chemical, offshore and other demanding environments, according to maker Elesa UK.
Elesa GN 950 handwheels are manufactured from AISI 316 grade stainless steel and are suited to use on external pipeline valves or where there are special concerns regarding chemicals such as particularly intensive/aggressive cleaners.
The standard cast AISI 316L version has a turned and polished rim and is available in sizes from 100mm to 200mm dia. Its sister variant, the 950.6-F features a fixed handle for increased speed of operation where a high number of turns are required. Both come with either plain reamed hole or with keyway to DIN 6885/1 P9. Square drive holes are available if required.
