Single-source fastener solutions

Northern Precision has announced that it has expanded its single-source fastening solutions capability by entering into an exclusive United Kingdom and Ireland distributorship for Arnold & Shinjo fasteners and insertion systems manufactured in Germany.

"This provides users with any - and every - possible pressing permutation for successful fastener insertion", says Sales Director Steve Smith. "Whether fully-automated or semi-automated, with or without robot workpiece handling, or integrated into an assembly or production line the Arnold & Shinjo solutions are highly productive yet cost-effective."

Based on punching heads capable of up to 100 strokes a minute, coupled with dies and seals for optimal functioning. the systems feature multi-fastener distributors for up to eight punching heads, quick-action couplings, and simple torque testing instruments, explains Steve Smith.
