NEW VENUE FOR YOUR APRIL SHOW

1 min read

Road construction in the Gaydon area, the site of The Heritage Motor Centre, has forced a change of Venue for next April's FAST Exhibition, which was to be held in the Museum's exhibition facility. The event has been transferred to the new facilities at Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix.

Just before the Christmas break, we learned from the management at Gaydon that the Highways Agency had at last seen fit to begin the construction of a much-needed dual carriageway between the M40 and the Museum/JLR facility. The project is starting early in the New Year and as a result of the inevitable localised chaos which the building works will cause, they were forced to cancel all events there 'for the duration'. Hearing this news, the Findlay events team embraced the opportunity and have speedily and positively delivered an even better venue and an even better exhibition for next April. The all-new facility at Silverstone is of course much more expensive – and some might say more exclusive – than Gaydon. But in the pursuit of the excellence and unbeatable value which have become hallmarks of the successful FAST Exhibitions, the events management team has agreed to absorb the increased venue costs and will not pas it down to the exhibitors who rebook at the new venue. Everything else remains exactly as it was – the date, the Seminar programme, the ease of access to the venue, the free parking adjacent to the exhibition, the catering et al. You can check the April 2015 venue online by visiting the Silverstone website.
