Jubilee Clips supports international rally hopeful

Automotive industry supplier Jubilee Clips is doing its bit to support up-and-coming stars of motor sport.

The Gillingham-based manufacturer backs local rally ace Louise Cook, who has made a flying start to her first season in the Production World Rally Championship, which entails competing throughout Europe and as far away as New Zealand. The 25-year-old has already won the British Ladies' Rally Championship and is now racing against international rivals on the world stage, in her Ford Fiesta ST. On her debut in the Championship Louise made history by becoming the first woman to gain a podium place, finishing a magnificent second in her class at the Monte Carlo Rally. "The competition I'm in is a support series for the main WRC, so I get to rub shoulders with the world's best drivers. Sebastian Loeb, for example, has given me a few pointers with things like pace notes," said Maidstone-based Louise. "Unfortunately, unlike drivers on the main factory teams, I have to raise all my own funding through sponsorship, so the support of companies like Jubilee Clips is invaluable. Their products are great too – my car is fitted throughout with Jubilee hose clips and it's great to know they'll never let me down."
