Heavy duty hinges suit rail applications
The latest forged steel and stainless steel hinges, from FDB Panel Fittings, are designed for use on railway rolling stock and trackside enclosures. In these applications their extra thickness of 4mm to 10mm and riveted hinge pins offer rugged in-service performance.
The range includes butt hinges with plain leaves for weld-on fitment, as well as a lift-off style version with brass washer and three countersunk holes in each leaf for screw-on attachment. These hinges are compatible with other typical anti-vandal and security hardware accessories such as retractable T handles and stainless steel swinghandles.
They are also expected to be suitable for garage doors, gates, agricultural and equipment.
