Fastener guide for electric vehicles

Optimas has published a fastener selection guide for vehicle electrification.

This guide aims to inform as to which fasteners are best suited for the EV market – including commercial and personal vehicles, transportation and infrastructure – as well as how Optimas as a supplier can provide the knowledge and advice.

It contends that there are six key considerations for selecting the right fasteners:

  • Size
  • Insulation
  • Materials
  • Geometry
  • Non-Ferrous
  • Assortment Availability

The guide, available via the link below, also offers pro tips from Optimas technical experts on how to approach electrification projects.
