FAST & IASE Exhibitions prove their worth!

This week's FAST & IASE Exhibitions have been voted an outstanding success, as has the BASA Open Technical Forum which was held on site during the shows.

Hundreds of design engineers, production professionals and senior manufacturing managers attended the exhibitions yesterday (21st October) at the National Motorcycle Museum. On site to meet exhibitors and solve immediate fastening, adhesives and assembly challenges, visitors were quick to praise the exhibitors and organisers for an event that delivered exactly what they were looking for. Bob Moore, Consulting Partner at BMB Consultants said "Compliments! As always the exhibition was extremely well organised and administered". He had arrived to discuss a specific fastening and assembly problem with a specific exhibitor. Jurgen Bauer of CEVA stated "Very good venue, easy to find and ample parking....". Like Bob Moore, Jurgen had attended to talk to exhibitors about a specific problem. Maurice Shearman of Ace Moulding Services was another visitor arriving to solve a particular problem. "Very useful for subcontract projects which include assembly" he said. Tata Steel's Project Cost Engineer Ivan Philips joined Bob Moore, Jurgen Bauer and Maurice Shearman by stating that he had discovered things at the exhibition that he wasn't expecting to find. "An interesting and valuable exhibition to attend to keep up with the latest assembly solutions" he said. The Organisers thank all visitors for attending, and all exhibitors for making the event the best ever in the series. The next FAST & IASE Exhibitions will be of especial value to manufacturing professionals based in the Southwest: they take place next May at the Haynes International Motor Museum at Sparkford near Yeovil. Details follow in due course, but make a diary note of it today!
