Tapes specialist tesa has extended its ACXplus range of double-sided adhesive tapes for long-term bonding on indoor and outdoor applications, with the recent launch of ACXplus 705X.

ACXplus 705X has been developed specifically for this type of application, offering a fast, robust and highly transparent bond for glass partitions in offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, catering areas and the like. tesa tells us that this development represents good news for architects, specifiers and contractors who are responsible for the use of glass partition walls in a variety of premises. Providing thicknesses of 1.500µm and 2.000µm respectively, ACXplus 7056 and 7058 are ultra-transparent pure acrylic double-sided tapes, which in addition to high bonding power offer high UV, temperature and solvent resistance. The ACXplus range is now widely recognised for its unique viscoelastic properties, which provide excellent stress dissipation across different substrates, says tesa. Whether on glass to glass, glass to metal applications such as aluminium or steel or with a transparent thermoplastic such as PMMA, the tapes offer a dependable result along with rapid, straightforward application.
