Expanded prototype and short-run production capacity

The Orbitform Group has boosted capacity at its Jackson, Michigan facility to provide prototype services for the assembly of parts in a new application engineering laboratory.

Specializing in forming, joining and fastening, the 6000 sq ft facility is staffed by two full-time engineers with a combined 35 years experience developing all types of fastening applications. Together they have reviewed over 25,000 applications. The laboratory is equipped with over 30 of Orbitform's standard impact, orbital, spiral, rollerforming, hot upset, MIG and resistance welding machines. This array lets Orbitform develop joining solution for every customer's particular requirement. The company provides prototype services for the assembly of parts, specialising in forming, joining and fastening. Each application is scientifically analysed and precisely documented. To celebrate the opening, Orbitform is offering first time customers up to 10 hours of free lab time for their process development services until November 1st.
