Ellsworth follows the acquisition trails
Ellsworth Adhesives, which already claims to be the world's largest distributor of adhesive products and dispensing equipment, has acquired Tennessee-based distributor, Adhesive Methods and Technology (AMT).
With operations based in Memphis, TN, Adhesive Methods and Technology specialises in industrial adhesives and dispensing equipment.
Mike McCourt, global president - Ellsworth Adhesives Specialty Chemical Distribution, commented: "The acquisition of AMT supports our strategy of growth as we continue to provide a superior level of service and technical support to our customers. Announced earlier this month, the acquisition of AMT is expected to enhance the Ellsworth's global presence, which now includes operations in 14 countries. Ellsworth Adhesives' headquarters (pictured) are in Germantown, Wisconsin.
