Burwood Fastener Products to get global owner

The company says the acquisition will provide a firm base of operations in Europe and will operate under the name Interfast Europe. Burwood has recently been approved as a member of the SBAC and supplies fasteners, hardware and consumables to the aerospace and automotive industries. Howard Gerstein, Burwood's managing director is looking forward to a strengthened presence in the European community. "Burwood sees great strategic value in bringing these two organizations together," he commented. "Burwood has an excellent reputation with the UK aerospace manufacturing sector and their customer base is very complimentary to our own," added Oleck.
