Bonding tapes gather pace at FAST Exhibition

Building on last year's introduction of ACXplus adhesive tape, tesa returned to this year's FAST Exhibition inviting people to discuss their specific bonding requirements.

tesa ACXplus offers viscoelasticity, a characteristic which enables it to provide good bonding power while coping with different thermal elongation coefficients of dissimilar materials. Its closed cell structure also provides a cushioning effect to absorb stress and withstand impact damage, an important feature for a wide variety of industrial applications and sectors. As Jeremy Smith, marketing manager for tesa UK commented: "The tesacohesion team were delighted with the amount of visitors who came onto the stand seeking advise on how adhesive tape could help them to make a difference to their individual challenges. tesa ACXplus is branching into new application areas where no adhesive tape solution has previously been available. Our discussions with a diverse range of sectors showed that in providing such a powerful solution for constructive bonding, which can create productivity improvements whilst enhancing the end result, the opportunities are infinite." This tape offers companies in various sectors new possibilities for innovative product designs, new combinations of materials and more efficient production processes, the company claims.
