Bond it or bolt it?

Advances in fastening and adhesives technology have delivered huge benefits to manufacturers acrossall industries – but the massive scope of capabilities now available has also brought about an often bewildering array of choices for engineers who want to put things together better!

One of the key advantages of a visit to the FAST and IASE Exhibitions is the facility to examine, assess and compare all the methods, processes and products now available in the field of fastening and assembly and make informed decisions on what is best for a given application.

The FAST Exhibition provides a unique opportunity to talk face to face with experts in the field ofmechanical fastening, and the IASE Exhibition, held at the same time and same place, offers an equally rewarding facility to do likewise with the best qualified experts in adhesives, sealants and tapes technology.

Whether the need is to speed up an assembly process, design for frequent disassembly in the field, achieve a joint that will stand extremes of cold, heat or vibration, or discover cost-reduction opportunities, the UK engineering and manufacturing community visiting the FAST & IASE Exhibitions will leave the event with questions answered and a clearer path towards better made products.

The events take place at the National Motorcycle Museum, adjacent to the NEC, on Thursday October 21st, and qualifying manufacturing professionals who pre-register in advance have the added advantage of a Complimentary Luncheon Voucher worth £5 and a free Museum Pass (otherwise priced at £6.95). The motorcycle museum offers abundant free parking and exhibition entry is free too.
