Araldite website competition winners announced

Fifty lucky visitors to the <a href="http://www.go-araldite.com">www.go-araldite.com</a> website over the pre-Christmas period will shortly be receiving the prizes they won in an on-site 'hunt the Christmas presents' competition.

The competition was initiated by email which attracted hundreds of entries, with consumers searching through the site to locate a number of Christmas packages, then providing a tie-breaker on their use of Araldite adhesives. The brand, which recently added a range of other adhesives such as grab and super glues to its famous two-part epoxy products, offered website visitors the chance to win one of 50 specially-created Emergency Repair Kits, which are ideal for home, workshop or when on the move by car, caravan, boat or camping out. The kit contains a selection of Araldite products: the 24ml standard syringe, the handy one-shot 3g Fusion, clear fast-setting Crystal in 2 x 15ml size pack and Repair Putty which will fix pipes, metal frames, bodywork and other substantial tasks. Patricia Albisser, speaking on behalf of the Araldite European Marketing team based in Basel, Switzerland, said the level of response and enthusiasm for the brand had been highly encouraging. "Our customers showed great loyalty to the Araldite brand and the range of tasks for our products they identified in their tie-breakers was quite astonishing, from repairing automotive parts in sub-zero temperatures to repairing windsurfing equipment and fixing broken Christmas gifts to helping with major DIY projects over the holiday period," he commented.
