Anaerobic adhesive will only cure with metal contact

Anaerobics are one of the easiest and user friendly products to use. Excess adhesive outside the joined parts is easy to clean up and doesn't adhere to other areas or the hands.

But what happens when you are trying to apply adhesive to a vertical surface, or you are using a high strength retainer for example on a joint that is close to or above another moving part that could be permanently seized by the introduction of an anaerobic? A drop of adhesive running down into those parts could have serious consequences and destroy the component. Delta Adhesives now has an ingenious solution, both in terms of the product, and its delivery system. Delta Gel anaerobics are supplied in a pump dispenser that delivers a neat, controlled non-drip bead straight onto the component. The pump dispenser has no air inside, and the product is visible through the transparent container, which is ideal for stock control and the last drop of product comes as no surprise. The products have been formulated to require both metal contact and the absence of air to initiate cure, so they do not begin to cure even when packed tightly into an air free container.
