Wireless actuation controls electronic locks

Users of electronic locks can get some peace of mind with enhanced security and convenience when adopting the EA-R02 RF remote control from Southco which enables wireless actuation of locking devices in a basic, cost-effective package.

The controller uses radio frequency technology for hands-free locking and unlocking. The unit includes a receiver, two key-fob style transmitters and a wire harness. Easy setup and installation ensures an effortless transition from mechanical to electronic access, the company claims. The receiver arrives pre-programmed to work with the transmitters provided and supports up to four compatible transmitters from a distance of approximately 20 m. Business development manager, Steve Spatig, confirmed: "The new Southco EA-R02 wirelessly controls multiple locking devices with a simple push button remote actuation for peace of mind security."
