Wing knob in kit form
Plastimont CO258 is described by Bulte Plastics as a plastic wing knob for applications that require fingertip control and lower torque-tightening.
It is offered in kit form and the standard colour is black - other colours can be provided.
The material of manufacture is polyamide - a nylon that is resistant to various chemical products, offers excellent mechanical properties including wear resistance, low friction coefficient, high melting point, and good impact resistance, says Bulte's Steve Hamer. The working temperature range is from -30ºC to +100ºC.
Other features listed by the company include diameter of 67mm and the recommendation that a cover will provide a "perfect" finish.
