Triple presence promises big impact

Zygology will also have a strong presence at the FAST Exhibition. From Penn Engineering, it will be showing new concepts in self-clinch technology –to name just one, the PEM sliding-nut, which allows unlimited lateral movement in a fastener still held totally captive in the panel.

This offers all sorts of possibilities from just accommodating panel misalignment to offering adjustment for fitted components. Attendees can pick up a working sample on the stand.

From POP Avdel, Zygology will have the new boys on the block in the form of the PB2500 and recently released PB3400 – two next-generation battery rivet tools that offer “unrivalled speed, ergonomics and power saving abilities”, says Zygology. “These new tools take battery-powered riveting to a new level.”

From Southco, it will be showing its cable-operated and electronic rotary latch systems, which are changing the way manufacturers think about their design choices for enclosures of every type. “Both systems are totally modular, so that the latch, actuator and everything in between is all designed to fit and work together and are available from just one supplier.”
