The main application is protection from rubbing and anti squeak and rattle, e.g. for polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA) panels used for decoration to the outside pillars on cars ("B" and "D" posts), but also for plastic rear lamps to avoid vibration and groan/creak noise between the car body and the plastic parts. The advantages for the customers are; outstanding resistance against abrasion, excellent chemical resistance and a low friction coefficient. These properties make this tape suitable for many and varied applications in addition to those in the automotive sector. All parts can be converted locally and complex die cuts can be presented roll to roll, offering fully automated or semi-automated assembly.
