Threadlock formulation features novel applicator
Permatex Threadlocker Gels are now available in a patented Gel Twist applicator, which leaves the threadlocker gel precisely where the user wants it with no drips or solid stick globs, reducing waste and costs.
The gel provides the same application reliability as liquid threadlockers; securing fasteners against loosening from vibrations and protecting threads from corrosion.
Techsil's sales director, Chris Dilley, commented: "Technicians can put the threadlocker exactly where they want, especially in vertical applications and hard to reach places. Gel Twist flows more easily into threads than solid stick formulations, but will not spill like liquid threadlockers."
The material come in two grades: Medium strength blue gel -- for all-purpose nut and bolt applications 6mm to 25mm; and high strength red gel -- for heavy-duty nut and bolt applications 10mm to 25mm and longer.
