CI-2001 differs from standard conformal coatings, in that it is highly reflective – a property that enhances light output and efficiency in lighting applications such as light reflectors, mixing chambers, backlight units, light engine units, printed circuit boards and aluminium surfaces used in the assembly of LED lamps and luminaires.
CI-2001 users can also alter the products viscosity to suit the requirements of their coating method, while the product can adhere to most common electronic substrates, including aluminium, steel, polycarbonate and methacrylate.
Curing times of CI-2001 vary depending upon the film thickness, temperature, humidity and the application method. The application of CI-2001 is easy and users are able to choose from a selection of application methods, including brushing, spraying, dipping, flowing or automated pattern coating.
