Metal-Tacks are specially hardened self piercing pins that make their own
hole to fasten light loads onto most hard castings and metals in a simple and easy procedure. A specially designed air hammer running at 5 bar forces the self piercing Metal-Tack pin firmly into the base material to provide a permanent fixture.
The system is in every day use in the USA and throughout Europe in the automotive, aeronautical, oilfield and general engineering production industries, whenever fixing parts onto metal is part of the production process.
