Posts and screws
Micro Plastics International has announced the introduction of a new post and screw product combination.
The screws are offered in lengths of 1/4in and 3/8in and are available separately from the posts. The posts have an outside diameter of 7/32in with seven sizes ranging in length from 1/4in to 1in.
The posts and screws are stated to provide a low-cost, transparent fastener option. The combination comprises an 832 slotted-head machine screw and a matching internal threaded bushing with an unslotted binder head.
The parts are moulded in clear polycarbonate material "which provides more strength and durability for industrial applications", says Barry Jarman, Micro Plastics.
