Phillips Screw Co to deliver seminar on lightweight threaded fasteners at FAST Live

Stefan Szczurek, European Licensing Director of Phillips Screw Company, will be delivering a free-to-attend seminar at FAST Live, at the National Motorcycle Museum on 10 May, titled ‘Lightweight Fasteners and Why Contact Area Matters’.

With the growing use of light weight threaded fasteners, this technical seminar, at 11:30am, will explain why the contact area between the driving tool and the fastener is critical.

The seminar will take an in-depth look into why the contact area is critical in assuring proper torque transfer and joint strength, and how to optimize design for lightweight field serviceability.

Case study examples of where lightweight fasteners should be applied without compromising strength or joint integrity will also be provided.
