Light-weight dispensing valve
The Fisnar CV629 cartridge valve, available from Intertronics, is pneumatically operated for the dispensing of fluids - ultra-violet adhesives, glues, solvents, oils, silicones, inks, etc.
Shot sizes can be fine-tuned by an adjustment screw at the top of the valve which means that the valve is especially useful for applications in which micro deposits are required.
Weighing 135g, the valve can be hand-held. This, says Intertronics' Peter Swanson, makes is suitable for manual operations in which an operator needs to apply frequent dispensing deposits. The CV629 also features aligned air/material inlets to enable close side-by-side mounting of multiple valves, as well as replaceable cartridge seals and a capacity to handle a range of material viscosities up to 300lb/in².
