Light production welding solutions
The new Tradesmigs (171, 201, and 251) ranges of step-regulated power sources for MIG/MAG welding has been made available by Murex Welding Products.
"They feature a built-in wire feeder and their low weight makes them highly practical for light production applications in many different industries", says Murex's Cheron Robinson.
Designed for use with conventional solid wire and with self-shielding cored welding wire the products can weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, as well as undertake MIG brazing. Wire diameters from 0.6mm to 1.2mm can be used.
"For ease of use the Tradesmigs feature multi-step voltage switches and potentiometers for wire speed adjustment, allowing easy setting of the welding parameters. Also, it is possible to adjust the burn-back time and to set spot-welding times." A 'Power Smoothing Device' also is provided "to promote excellent welding performance with carbon-dioxide and gas mixtures".
