Ease of use is provided by the T handle, which operates the compression latching over a range adjustable from 13mm to 75mm. This ensures soft closure, with the latch itself covered in glass reinforced polyamide to provide added protection for the cabinet paint finish over the operation cycle.
The CSMH is described as particularly suitable for applications on power generation or HVAC equipment, as well as machine controls and power distribution panels in outdoor situations where it is resilient to bad weather.
Elesa has designed in an 8mm padlock hasp facility and a micro-switch mounting to permit remote sensing of the handle position, so that its status may be electronically determined – namely, open or closed. The CSMH is available with single or differing key combinations (up to 400 possibilities).
