Jenton’s UV capability increases with new conveyor designs.

It’s all very well having a great UV lamp or LED but for the UV light to do its work, the adhesive to be cured and the items to be bonded have to be exposed to the appropriate power and energy of UV. Jenton’s comprehensive range of UV conveyors, workstations and custom jigs, turntables and ovens allow controlled, consistent and safe exposure of product to be cured to UV source. Jenton have built on many years of experience and library of past projects to develop the Cont-i-Cure range of conveyors enhanced for 2015.

Jenton International have been supplying UV curing equipment to the industrial adhesive and coating market since 1979. Such equipment has been instrumental in the development and production of optical fibres, fibre amplifiers, contact lenses and CDs amongst many other products. UV light can be produced with an emphasis on a wide range of wavelengths – from broad spectrum UVA and UVC sources to pretty much monochromatic LED and Excimer sources. Having been produced, the UV has to be directed at materials to be cured and various optical means have been developed to do this involving lenses, reflectors and lightguides. Exposure can be pin-pointed to specific areas or generally exposed over wide areas and in both cases exposure can be instant, intermittent or gradual in ovens, on workstations or via conveyors or other mechanical handling devices. Jenton have experience in ALL the above UV solutions. Jenton designs and makes it's own JA range of UV arc sources as well as manufacturing conveyors and work stations. In addition Jenton distributes UV curing equipment from Excellitas, Phoseon and Nordson and accurate UV measurement equipment from NIST certified EIT Inc.

2015 has seen an expansion of manufacturing capacity and capability and a wide extension of the Cont-i-Cure conveyor range. Conveyors can be supplied with mercury arc lamps (hot), microwave powered lamps (medium) and/or LED sources (cool/cold). Everything JentonUv makes is in stainless steel and is suitable for cleanroom and medical applications. Conveyors range from the benchtop 300mm wide unit to large specialist floor mounted units up to 650mm wide. As much as we can make adjustable is made adjustable from lamp focus, to exhaust power to belt speed and lamp power. Most importantly customers can try and test Jenton equipment at Jenton's base in Whitchurch, Hampshire and develop process parameters before commiting to a specification for equipment. PLEASE try before you buy!!
