Handles for curved surfaces
The difficulty of fixing a lifting handle to a drum or a pull handle to a curved drawer has been overcome, claims Elesa, by the introduction of its EBP-FLX series handles.
"Essentially, we have taken our EBP bridge handle and moulded it in polypropylene-based technopolymer with added elastomer", explains Elesa's Nigel Pritchett. "This provides the flexibility to fit curves of a radius from 150mm to 400mm."
The product has a front fixing arrangement for 8mm cylindrical head hexagon drive machine screws along with push-fit caps that are offered in black (standard) and five other colours. Handle sizes are 144mm and 178mm with 117mm and 150mm mounting centres.
Nigel Pritchett points out that for curves of a radius larger than 400mm the company's standard EBP handles can be used.
