Hand held screw driving system set for trade show launch

Böllhoff Fastenings will debut its latest screw driving system at the Southern Manufacturing show next February at Five, Farnborough.

The company tells us the blow-fed system can take out cost and optimise manufacturing processes and is available in hand held or fixed format and remains compact and robust. Developed by an international fastening and assembly team, the Uniquick-Basic rapid screwdriver will be demonstrated on the company's stand during the February 16-17 show. The product will be available with either torque or depth shut off and with electric or hydraulic power options and is part of a range of tools that extend from hand held to automatic screw feeding and fully automatic operation. Easily integrated into existing manufacturing processes, the system is suitable for use with Phillips, slotted, hexagon, hexagon socket and Torx screws as well as thread forming metal and wood screws.
