Duotec® makes the complicated simple

1 min read

Cheshire based company Binder Fasteners continue to expand their offering of Duotec® clips. These plastic backed components manufactured in Germany by Gottlieb Binder allow you a more mechanical fix, while still retaining all the great benefits of Duotec® fastener.

This system has been quickly adopted by the interior wall panel industry. These panels could be acoustic or thermal insulation, decorative or backlit, made of wood, rock, polyurethane, polystyrene, multi-layered sandwich, making the choice of wall fixing a complicated one.

Sometimes expensive special screws are required, or you could just use nails and maybe some adhesive, but how do you easily remove or reposition the panel? This is time consuming and sometimes impossible depending on the fixings choice. You might also need to do extra work to hide the screws or nails.

The Duotec® clip family is a fast, strong, and simple solution. With our tile with central hole you can mechanically fix this to the wall using a drill and plugs then choose either the same type of clip for the back of the panel or our excellent self adhesive tape. We also have spacer clips for out of plumb surfaces and continuous flat profiles for longer runs.

Also in the range are various plastic push in fixings which are proving themselves invaluable with architectural metal work and cladding companies. Just drill a circular or square hole insert the Duotec® clip and again choose to use the same type of fixing or our adhesive tape for the counterpart. Quick, strong, invisible, and free from any corrosion.
