Cartridge systems
A brochure has been published by John Guest to provide information on its cartridge systems - "a simple, cost-effective way of securing tubes within a product".
The components are described as "neat and compact push-in connections that avoid the need for threaded ports, offer improved product appearance, and provide easy tube connection and a reduced envelope size".
The systems are stated to be easy to assemble, need only a low insertion level, but offer high burst pressure. They are available with a plastic, brass, or stainless steel body for use with a variety of soft metal and plastic housing materials.
