Carton seal tape
The latest development from Coating and Converting Solutions is a carton seal tape for inline and offline closure of packaging.
The product is described by CCS's Tony Webb as "a high-performance, double-sided polyester tape with an adhesive system that offers excellent initial tack with high shear properties. The high coat weight gives instant bonding power to cardboard and other substrates.
The product can be supplied for hand application in small roll lengths or for machine applications in spiral wound format either as flush edge or finger-lift format for ease of liner removal.
For other difficult bonding applications the company highlights its 'High Bond' adhesive strips for bonding plastic sheets, signage and displays, fixing tiles and edgings, trim, and for use in the building and construction industries. These can be supplied in thicknesses from 200 micron to 2000 micron.
