Cable clamps

M. Buttkeriet is promoting its range of polyamide cable clamps designed to hold and support power cables used in various applications.

The clamps, moulded from black polyamide 6GV, can be used inside and outside as well as in hostile environments. They are resistant to grease, oil, ultra-violet light, and ozone radiation, and can accommodate cable loads to 600A in temperatures from -40ºC to +120ºC. The single aperture clamps are offered in "a wide range of sizes" and are suitable for single insulated cable diameters from 16mm to 100mm. The clamp footprint ranges from 66mm x 21mm to 182mm x 80mm; larger clamps are available for multiple cables. These can be configured in three-cable triangular or four-cable diamond arrangements within a single enclosure aperture, reports Martin Buttkereit. Cable centre settings of 38mm, 41mm, 44mm, and 65mm are offered; other sizes are available to provide other cable row spacings. All clamps are supplied with mounting plates incorporating stainless steel stud bolts, nuts, and washers.
