In September 2016, BFC Tibbetts acquired Security Fasteners and Fixings. Whilst the past 12 months seems to have past by in the blink of an eye, there has been a substantial investment by BFC Tibbetts into the SFF acquisition. Starting with ensuring the supply chain into the established customer base was secure; the major replenishment of dwindling stock lines was immediately actioned. Following on from this a slight alteration was made to the branding to ensure uniformity with the well established Tibbetts group companies. A new brochure and website were launched 6 months in and the established customer base is now confident and delighted with the new financially secure ownership of SFF.
After an intensive marketing campaign and exhibitions lined up for now and the future, including of course the big industry well known 'Fencex' in 2018, BFC/SFF are now growing their customer base with new opportunities opening up in a wide range of industries. BFC Tibbetts Sales Director Phil Havercroft said "we have expanded our sales team with 2 internal sales people and 1 external business development manager; we are very excited about the future and sincerely thank the loyal customer base that trusted in the acquisition and continue to remain with us".
