Adhesive tapes on show

Stokvis Tapes will be exhibiting at the Fastening & Assembly Solutions exhibition at the RAF Museum, Cosford, on 30 April.

The company offers a range of automotive sector products for bonding, sealing, protection, and noise suppression. "All of these can be converted and customised to meet specific application requirements", says Paul Sutherland. Die-cut tapes are available. "These will help users to reduce application time or can serve as the 'creative solution' for new self-adhesive products. With die-cuts the same size and quality always are available which helps to increase production speed and improve overall quality." Tapes for bonding also will be promoted on the company's stand. "A range of tapes for bonding two materials will be featured", reports Paul Sutherland. "Double-sided foam tapes, structural bonding tapes, transfer tapes, double-sided tissues, and filmic tapes will be shown." Information will be available to visitors on recent successful applications. For example, a company that was using rivets for fixing signage switched recently to structural bond tapes and reports that productivity has been increased, a permanent bond guaranteed, and metal fatigue and mechanical degradation eliminated.
