Torque amplifier collar doubles clamping force

When used in conjunction with clamping handles and clamping knobs, a new torque amplifier collar announced by Elesa enables clamping forces to be doubled compared with non-amplified manual operation. It also facilitates easier operation and saves space, since a smaller handle may be used for the same effect.

More reliable clamping force is possible as it is less dependent on the strength of the operator.

Clamping torque amplifier collars are available in steel and stainless steel to suit differing industrial environments, with black polyamide protective covers. They are offered to suit shaft sizes of 8mm, 10mm and 12mm.
