Southco expands manufacturing operations

Southco is expanding its operations footprint into Poland.

TouchPoint, the parent company of Southco, has acquired land in the south east region of Rzeszów, where Southco will construct a new 60,000 square foot facility to meet the needs of Southco’s growing European customer base.

Construction of the new facility will begin this year, with completion scheduled for early 2019. The Poland expansion will provide Southco with a new location that will accommodate future business growth in Europe, through the creation of a local manufacturing operations and distribution capabilities.

Southco’s decision to establish a new facility in Poland embraces the trend of international businesses choosing to invest in this fast-developing region, which is rich in local talent and culture. The new facility will feature the latest technology, and bring new and exciting opportunities for job growth to the local economy, with recruitment scheduled to begin later this year, the company has announced.
