Sandwell wins coater accreditation status

Designed to recognise the past and continued use, and maintaining of excellent and consistently high standards in the application of Whitford coatings, Sandwell UK has been awarded Whitford Recommended Coater status. The latest addition to a select number of companies who qualify for the programme, they join an elite group with whom Whitford continue to have a close working relationship.
Sandwell UK focuses on the specialist surface engineering of components by holding extensive product knowledge of key processes including: surface engineering, such as shot peening and bead blasting; coatings with low friction, anti-corrosive and high temperature properties; and surface finish such as satinising.
Focussed on the quality of process and service, Sandwell claims it strives to meet the needs of its customers working jointly to develop beneficial working relationships; such as that held with Whitford, having worked in partnership with one another for the past 15 years.
On receiving the accreditation, Colin McGrory, technical director supporting Sandwell UK's coating division commented: "Becoming a member of the Whitford Recommended Coater Program goes to further enforce our working relationship with Whitford, recognising our experience and expertise in applying Xylan coatings to a range of components."
