As well as high thrust, FT Series roller screw driven actuators offer high speed, and high robustness in a compact form factor, making them an ideal alternative to hydraulic cylinders.With continuous force rating to 178 kN, speed of 1,500mm/sec and stroke lengths from 150mm to 2,400mm, the FT Series can be applied across a wide range of linear motion applications.
The new FT45 has a continuous force rating of 44.5 kN, filling the gap between the existing FT35 and FT60 models.The FT45 features key enhancements over the existing FT Series frame size designs, including a minimum environmental protection rating of IP65; Idler pulley design that greatly simplifies motor installation; and belt tensioning/maintenance fitting, which allows re-greasing of nut assembly without having to disassemble the unit. There is also a removable front seal bushing design, which greatly simplifies front seal maintenance and replacement.
