Open days showcase dispensing developments

Hartlebury-based Dopag will open its doors on Wednesday October 14 and Thursday October 15 to show how new advances in adhesive dispensing technology can deliver a raft of value-added benefits to a wide range of manufacturing operations

Run in conjunction with Europe's largest robot maker Kuka, the events will include a number of live demonstrations, which will highlight how automating adhesive, sealant and grease dispensing applications can boost efficiency and achieve improvements in product quality and working conditions. The company will show how integrating its latest proportional control valve in a display featuring a Kuka KR16 robot can effortlessly control the size of an adhesive or sealant bead with great accuracy regardless of any variations in the speed of the robot. "The systems that we will demonstrate to our visitors during these open days represent a major investment in the introduction of new products. This is an important opportunity to find out how today's advances in automated fluids handling technology systems are even more flexible and cost-effective than ever before," explained Dopag's Bob Jones.
