Visitors to EMO Hannover 2017 (18-23 September) will be given an exclusive chance to learn more about the latest additions to the norelem product range.

The exhibition coincides with the latest release of THE BIG GREEN BOOK, norelem’s complete reference guide for design and mechanical engineers, which showcases its 38,000-strong range of individual standard components. Among these are its 5-axis clamping fixture and position indicator systems.

Designed to provide easy operability and rapid adjustment via the means of a scale, the 5-axis clamping fixture can easily be adapted to suit new workpieces. This allows engineers to reduce set up times for individual jobs, while enabling greater component precision. As workpiece designs become increasingly complicated, the system is renowned for its ease of use, meaning that it can be easily adapted, as required.

Another new addition to THE BIG GREEN BOOK, norelem’s position indicators facilitate direct reading of input measurement valves at a glance, distinguished by their clear display and scale. It allows mechanical engineers to indicate the value per spindle rotation, with the various indicator valves realised by a transmission gear.

Marcus Schneck, CEO of norelem, commented: “We’ve been coming to EMO since 1977, which tells you everything you need to know about the importance of the event for our business. We see it as a great way to showcase some of the most exciting new developments within our business and to learn more about the wider metalworking industry. We look forward to showcasing the newest additions to our product range and learning more about our customers and their unique engineering challenges.”

Taking place from 18-23 September in Hannover, Germany, EMO Hannover is the world’s premier trade event for the metalworking industry, bringing together leading names from across the global to showcase their latest innovations in action.
