Lock pins in stainless and steel

1 min read

Locking pins just released by Elesa are available in steel or stainless steel for a variety of industrial applications.

The GN214.3 (stainless) and GN214.2 (steel) lock pins are described by Elesa as 'ubiquitous in situations' such as fitment of lighting equipment, temporary stages, gantries and race vehicle bodies for the secure location of equipment. The products provide a quick temporary fix of heavy equipment such as light units and speakers by means of rapid insertion and removal. Security is provided by two end pawls which are released when the push button in the head is operated. The stainless steel pins are in AISI 304 and offer rugged long life in corrosive environments. The GN214.2 versions in zinc plated steel offer similar performance in less aggressive situations such as shop floor applications in the quick fixing of components or parts to be machined – in particular for elements which need to be removed and reset continuously. Pin sizes are available in diameters from 6mm to 16mm and 10mm to 70mm useable length between head and end pawls. A head mounted loop is provided to accept a retaining chain when the lock pin is not in use.
