Linear guide system eases assembly

1 min read

The DryLin W range from igus offers a complete modular linear guide system which is low in cost, provides flexibility and is offered in both single and double rail configurations.

A recently released video on the system demonstrates its key advantage: the assembly is simple and its housing can be attached just by the turn of a screw. The guide is wear and friction resistant as well as light in weight, due to the construction from lubrication free polymer and hard anodised aluminium for the rails. Smooth and quiet in operation, the range meets a wide variety of design requirements because of its flexibility. All double rails and complete carriages are available in a variety of lengths and they can be delivered with additional features such as adjustable bearings or a manual clamp. Although DryLin W is a profile rail system, it is able to compensate for angular rotation errors around the x-axis with an adjustment of up to 7 degrees possible. This effectively eliminates the strain which can occur when fitted to sheet metal fabrications. Watch the video at: http://bit.ly/lNJp8o
