Peter Spencer, tesa’s specialist segment manager, manufacturing, said tesa Lift & Reseal has been designed to efficiently close packs more than 20 times, allowing consumers to reseal film-based food packs for the product’s lifetime. The tape strip remains adhesive all the way down as the packaging reduces in size and remains effective, even if the adhesive face becomes dusty, thus retaining the quality and freshness of the food items and reducing food wastage.
The in-line application works with a range of film-based packaging solutions, including pouches, sacks, pillow packs, flow-wraps and quad-stabilo packs, giving consumers the ability to reseal the pack for the lifetime of its contents, with approximately 20 effective resealing actions.
tesa engineers will provide a full, end-to-end installation service which includes the provision of a tape dispenser. Lift & Reseal is supplied spool wound for rapid integration on the production line.
