This week's Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition takes place at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford on Wednesday (29th April) between 10am and 3pm.

Bigger than last years' event and packed with fastening and assembly innovations from market leading OEM suppliers and technical experts, the show has proven to be of special value to engineers and manufacturing professionals with enquiring minds that produce and manufacture quality designs. "Design, production, quality and R&D engineers will find much to be inspired by here" says show organiser Mark Newby. "Additionally, manufacturing managers will find some real eye-opening opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability at the show". New fasteners, new processes and the ability to tap into the experience of some true experts in the fastening field have proved to be of considerable value to visitors. Many bring drawings and/or parts to the event with them to discuss with exhibitors, and according to research undertaken by the exhibition organisers, 94% of visitors find their time at the show useful. Exhibition entry is free, parking is free and immediately adjacent to the show, entry to the RAF Museum is free and complimentary tea and coffee are served all day in the exhibition. There is also a free general interest seminar on land speed record breaking by the people who owned and drove the 'Vampire' jet dragster for 25 years before it was wrecked in a televised crash with another driver at the wheel in September 2006 (places subject to availability). The RAF Museum Cosford postcode is TF11 8UP and the venue's website may be found at www.rafmuseum.org/cosford. Use the button below for further information about the exhibition itself.
